Job Description
- Business Compliance Analysts (BAs) perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Business Analyst must have strong communication and customer engagement skills given their role in explaining and clarifying issues with the customer and translating operations issues into improving system process.
- In some cases, the BA will own specific data deliverables and have responsibility for the health of the data within their scope of influence.
- Monitor and reports on status and gaps to management team.
- Coordinates compliance training and initiates changes in procedures due to new or revised regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of related business or engineering Bachelor degree.
- Organized with strong time-management skills
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable interpreting data and utilizing tools such as MS Excel, PowerBI
- Good interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in logistics and customs operation
- MS Excel VB scripting and working knowledge on PowerBI
