The Marketing Data Analyst is the person who represents the voice of data. They perform deep-dive analytics to provide insights into the decisions and plans of marketing metrics. If you are a person who loves to work with data in the modern marketing landscape, you will fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing insight about operation and customer to optimize and drive the action of DAO in general and Marketing team in particular
- Interpreting data, presenting and reporting
- Answer ad-hoc questions and give recommendations for the daily operation of the department (based on data).
- Find the root cause of business problems.
- Ensure the accuracy of the information on the report dashboard.
- Handle the data catalog of your department.
- Manage a set of reports and dashboard of the Marketing Department
Requirements
MUST-HAVE:
- Minimum 02 years of experience as a data analyst.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting in Power BI and Excel/PowerPoint. Or experience in other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SAP, etc. and willingness to switch to new technologies.
- Experience in scripting languages to perform the analysis and visualization (Python or R is preferred)
- Understanding of basic statistical methods. Can perform hypothesis testing.
- Experience with data systems of Marketing, Sales such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Linkedin ads, Facebook ads, etc
- Able to work with data from multiple sources, both database, API, or raw files
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Understanding of Data Warehouse or experience working on data warehouse is a big plus
- Preferring the candidate who has experience with two or more relational databases.
