Get to know the role:
The Corporate Communications Intern is responsible for assisting Corporate Communications & PR (CCPR) team in implementing corporate communications strategies and corresponding activities that align, engage and connect all relevant stakeholders to support business objectives and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Internal Communications:
- Assist in executing internal communications for corporate programs and cross functional projects to engage employees, build awareness and drive their actions;
- Assist in planning and developing content for all internal communications channels, including emails, newsletters, podcasts, intranet, Internal Magazine & Slack, to keep all employees informed, aligned and inspired;
- Compose and translate internal communications documents, including news articles, leadership emails, employee interviews, executive speeches and other assignments;
- Help implement ad-hoc projects to support corporate sustainability agenda and influence other departments;
- Work with internal teams and outsourced vendors/agencies to ensure work meets quality, schedule and budgetary requirements;
- External Communications:
- Assist in preparing and translating press releases, press kits and booklets, press clippings and reports as assigned;
- Support coordinate media engagement activities and events to maintain relationship with the journalists and build brand awareness, in alignment with WBV’s compliant and transparent approach.
- Other tasks assigned by Supervisors:
- Collaborate with HR on planning and developing Employer Branding content;
- Coordinate and support organize corporate events such as Company Trips, season events and the like, including logistics coordination, speakers and presentations preparation, post-event surveys and additional follow-up;
- Admin tasks as assigned by supervisor;
Qualifications:
- Education:
- 3rd-year student or fresh graduate in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and related majors;
- Experience:
- Experience working in a complex, fast-moving organization is highly appreciated; other experience with similar skill sets and approach can be considered;
- Skills/ Knowledge:
- Have a good understanding of, keen interest in and intention to develop career paths in Corporate Communications;
- A creative thinker, a careful writer and friendly networker with critical thinking and detail orientation;

- Confident, humble, caring, and can-do mindset
