JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for:
- Together with other stakeholders and cross-functions to run the S&OP process for accurate demand forecast.
- Daily manage replenishment plan to ensure proper inventory level, day cover vs sale plan.
- Ensure the warehouse manages a healthy inventory level, with low slow-moving and obsolete (SLOB) stocks.
- Monitor, propose and implement solutions to avoid/ minimize slow-moving stock and expired goods.
- Implement the proposal for improvement processes & systems, running reports as a requirement.
- Working with suppliers about quality issues to ensure good quality products for sale and customers.
- Develop and maintain monthly forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics.
- Continuous improvement to the forecasting process to minimize forecast error.
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
REQUIREMENTS
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- Able to work full-time.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a demand planning/forecasting role is a plus.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
