Job Description
The Logistics Chief of Staff role (Manager/Senior Manager level) is created to be the stepping stone and training ground for the top talents who are interested in enjoying an aggressive career in Lazada, it’s an incubation house for our future logistics leadership team.
– Business Operations: Assist CLO with day-to-day business operations, work with cross-function logistics leaders on logistics project management, initiative implementation, and decision-making, and communicate objectives among departments. Ensure smooth business operations across functions including working process management and improvement to ensure business efficiency
-Strategy and Projects ManagementDrive key strategic projects as assigned and deliver expected project outcomes. Drive other logistics projects (ad-hoc and routine) across functions in Logistics & in cooperation with Platform teams (such as Marketing, Customer Care, Commercial, etc.)
-Effective CommunicationsFacilitate clear cross-functional communications (offline & online) on logistics-related topics. Coordinate logistics meetings including ad-hoc and routine meetings across functions. Deliver logistics reports in a timely and accurate manner including business reports, presentation decks, and acting as the logistics information hub. Other tasks assigned by CLO from time to time
Job Requirements
-Experience in strategic planning with solid analytical, and Excel modeling skills
-Excellent project management skills, ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel, plan for projects, manage own time and priorities
-Strong people and communication skills, e.g., actively involving local ventures counterparts, coordinating multiple stakeholders, reporting to large audiences or senior management
-Problem-solving/ thought leadership and business sense, ability to be a thought partner to local ventures on areas of expertise; ability to structure strategic analyses
-Prior management consulting/industry experience especially in Logistics/Retail/FMCG/Electronics/Fashion/General Merchandising and deep knowledge of the e-commerce industry will be preferred
-Great business acumen with excellent operation/consumer/commercial sense
-Self-driven with the ability to take on and create new assignments
-Willing and eager to learn. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
