JOP DESCRIPTION
-Assist the Component Engineer in sourcing components, gathering and maintaining component data.
– Recommends equivalent alternate component sources to benefit manufacturing and purchasing functions.
– Influences the customer base to utilize Jabil preferred manufacturers.
– Independently resolves component part number issues as needed.
– Provides component data to all functional areas within the company.
– Maintains component data including the Approved Manufacturer List (AML).
– Performs tasks as assigned by Component Engineer
REQUIREMENTS
– Bachelor Degree in engineering/electronics: Engineering, Electronics and telecommunications, Mechatronics-electrons, industrial electricity with a backrough on electronics or related discipline.
– One year or possibly less than 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
– Be able to understand technical specifications
– Be good at organizational skill, team-work, and pressure management
– Good English communication
