Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager Junior OutSystems Developer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a foundational understanding of software development principles who are keen to learn and build applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. You will work alongside experienced developers, contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
- Participate in the design and development of web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform under the guidance of senior developers.
- Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements.
- Build user interfaces, logic, and integrations based on provided specifications.
- Learn and apply OutSystems development best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues.
- Learn to integrate applications with external systems and databases.
- Stay updated with the latest OutSystems platform features and advancements.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Exposure to database concepts.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and work with the OutSystems platform.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Some exposure to low-code development platforms (even through personal projects or coursework).
- Basic understanding of database querying (SQL).
- Familiarity with Agile concepts.
- Personal projects or coursework demonstrating software development skills.
