JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Monthly Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) Meetings:
- Host and lead monthly S&OP meetings to review and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business goals and strategic initiatives
2. Dynamic Demand Planning:
- Manage the demand planning process, showing adaptability in refining forecasting models with data scientists
- Transform demand forecasts into actionable insights for the ever-changing needs of the merchandising team
3. Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between the data scientist team and the merchandising team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Provide timely updates on demand forecasts, inventory projections, and other relevant information.
4. Synchronization of Demand and Pricing:
- Work closely with the pricing team to align pricing strategies with demand forecasts and market trends
- Manage the rebate system to optimize profitability and maintain competitiveness in the market
5. Performance Analysis:
- Conduct regular analysis of sales, demand, and pricing performance
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance overall business efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master‘s degree is a plus
- Proven experience in demand planning, pricing analysis, and S&OP processes, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry
- High adaptability, resilience, and comfort in a fast-changing environment
- Proficiency in SQL, office suites, and R/Python is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
