Responsibilities

  • Accurate capture / authorization of transactions on systems and escalation of issues/ mismatches appropriately. This is achieved by ensuring all transactions are processed as laid down processes / regulatory guidelines / DIBs and Audit findings / recommendations to look out for mismatches (if any)/ non standard process and to highlight the same to appropriate authorities to ensure timely completion of the transaction.
  • Answer to client’s queries in a timely and efficiently matter.
  • Accurate checking / authorization of Client instructions. Client instructions are checked for completeness and then authorized based on set market practices. Due attention is paid to accuracy / timeliness of completion of transaction within the client Tats agreed in the SLAs and ensure no client complaints.
  • Contribution to Team projects, and assist BCP coordinator in BRP activities.  By liaising with internal parties such as ASP, IT , BIRO, preparing of Initial Request form ( IRs ), conducting UATs , preparing process notes and DIBs.
  • Maintain and enhance relationship with internal sections. Maintaining a good relationship with internal customers like client Service team, Treasury, IFS,FEX and SDV Team.  Ensuring internal deadlines are met to meet the overall objective of ensuring excellent service to clients.
  • Back-up for other officers in the section.  By learning other officer’s desk jobs to ensure rotation is in place and to ensure continuous movement of process.
  • Timely escalation of situations wherein the normal process steps might need to be diverted from.  This is escalated to the line manager who then liaises directly with other teams/ indirectly with the client to ascertain the way forward. The processor is not responsible high decision making under situations which need diversion form the core processes to be followed.
  • Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations.
  • Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements

Any relevant experience in the securities market would be an advantage. 
  • Certificate of completion of securities courses would also be an advantage.
