Through a strong understanding of what makes a good modern marcom strategist whom excels in designning brand story, brand voice, brand world, and how brand acts in an O2O ecysostem. A Digital Strategist takes an active role in all aspect of an digital marketing communication projects – identify brand’s issues, running competitive benchmark, forming recommendation, building architecture of programs, defining the drivers of brand performance and the KPI’s framework. The Digital Strategist has an understanding how modern brand operates in an connected world and able to develop plans that leverage multi touchpoints either as a broadcast media, or as narrowcast in designing engaging experience through insights, technologies, and expertise, with a constant testing/learning approach. They work closely with the client team to continuously improve the thinking, direction of the strategy, and recommended programs and tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Translation of business objectives into marketing and comms objectives
  • Analysis of available insights and definition of overall strategy in terms of in full marketing funnel (Awareness to Conversions to Distribution and Amplification)
  • Have appetite to ‘sell’ in solutions via partnering with other expert strategists, creative leaders, and assigned client solutions leaders on the business to develop disruptive ideas and experiences, with specific digital solutions at multiple customer touchpoints that breakthrough in the category
  • Implement the creation of brand strategy & brand ecosystem (digital, social, O2O) through the digital marketing funnel based on deep consumer knowledge and insights, category, brand, and digital/social platforms knowledge. Working & collaborating with Ogilvy client leads & media partners for such proposals.
  • Develop engagement tactical plan that stemmed out of the integrated communication frameworks where digital solutions such as Customer Experience, CRM, Commerce are critical to deliver an end-to-end platforms/campaigns/and or programs to Ogilvy clients
  • Understand and Integrate A/B testing and messaging in their strategies; like any other digital acquisition/retention channel, digital & social allow to precisely measure response rates, and easily test which formats, and creative options, drive the best returns.
  • Understand the fundamentals of consumer segmentations and can grow to be an expert in this area, a bedrock to our CRM solutions
  • Preparation/Presentation of reporting for client/agency senior stakeholders, based on drivers of performance and the KPI’s framework.
  • Helping with new business pitches when needed
  • Development of content for client and internal workshops.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have the following background:

  • Previous experience in digital oriented agency or role
  • Understands the client’s business and can connect business challenges and social strategy/tactics.
  • Understands brand ecosystem and established understanding of the wider digital communication landscape.
  • Passionate about the quickly evolving digital/social media environment with a strong POV to share with clients and colleagues.
  • Research skills, with the ability to generate data-based insights to weave into the strategy process.
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly amongst an digital agency team.
  • Clear, concise communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Eye for innovation and the next emerging platform or partner to consider as part of a brand strategy results.
  • Good analytical skills and spreadsheet capabilities; can build detailed business case/ROI modeling.
  • Good experience collaborating closely with key decision influencers/makers.
