2 Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding industry)

Responsibilities

National Sales

  • To explore the opportunity to develop additional business from the assigned customer account.
  • To proactively find new target customers and acquire new business.
  • To proactively create and submit sales leads to overseas offices as well as follow up on the progress.
  • To conduct regular customer visits and extend excellent presentations on  overall business.
  • To prepare, review & sign quotations.
  • To organize and delegate support work to sales assistants.
  • To conduct internal rollout meetings for handover new acquired customers to the operation team.
  • To handle the overall customer satisfaction of the newly acquired customers in case of RFI, RFQ, RFP, tender management, and project, have to be conduct meeting review with superior and department concerned before submission.
  • Develop personnel pipeline for potential opportunity.
  • To achieve set sales personnel targets.
  • To handle & prepare rate, tender inquiries and special projects for overseas offices/agents.
  • Trade Lane Development (as assigned by Manager)
  • Implement trade lane development in accordance to respective counterparts achieved targets and strategies.
  • Manage and share sales leads and follow-up results.
  • Conduct overseas sales calls when required.
  • Review & approve quotations/tender submissions.

Administration

  • Calculation of sales commission.
  • To be regular update and provide monthly GP report.
  • To issue minute of meeting or visited report.
  • To submit weekly sales plan report.
  • To update regular monthly pipeline report (Sale Review) as per agreed timeframe.
  • Any special assignment by superior

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in logistics or related field
  • 3-5 years Experience in the fields Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, functions in Freight Forwarding or Import/Export
  • Good command of English spoken and written
  • Computer literate (MS office and Power Point)
  • Excellent service mind
  • Ability think “outside the box”
  • Mandarin capability would be an added benefit
