Do you want to make a meaningful impact with your training and people development skills to support your colleagues at LEGO® Manufacturing Vietnam to grow and succeed?

 

* This role will be working temporarily at LEGO temporary office in District 1, HCMC (shuttle bus is provided from Bien Hoa, Binh Duong to the office) with frequent travel to factory site; and be relocated to Binh Duong in 2024

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Be the main driver for establishing a learning culture and bridging local skill gaps by designing and delivering relevant and engaging learning activities and experiences – both for colleagues in the office and in production.
  • Be the promoter and facilitator of our different signature LEGO learning programs for employees and people leaders.
  • Plan and facilitate onboarding sessions for new LEGO colleagues to accelerate a sense of belonging to the unique culture and values at the LEGO Group.
  • Establish and support a Training Organization which is a part of production teams by the selection, onboarding, development, and evaluation of shopfloor trainers; that means you will act as a trainer, consultant, coach, and a guardian for the LEGO training methodology (Training Within Industry – TWI method).
  • Building strong relationships with senior partners and team and proactively act as an advisory L&D partner to the target groups.
  • Tracking and assessing the success of development initiatives to drive improvement in key L&D metrics.

In this role you will be part of the newly established local L&D team in the Global Talent function of the LEGO Group’s HR organization. As a catalyst for business success, we support our local colleagues to grow and succeed, enabling the LEGO Group to be future ready and have the capabilities to grow in the right way into the future.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Preferably degree in education/organizational development/psychology/ human resources management
  • Strong command of English
  • Passionate and resilient team player with a demonstrable experience in a local and/or global L&D function
  • Enthusiastic about helping people learn and grow
  • Expert knowledge of effective L&D methods
  • Experienced facilitator
  • Curious attitude geared towards aiming for improvement
  • Excellent communication and ability to build up the relations with partners and stakeholders
  • Office 365 – Primarily SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Planner

 

Additional Traits & Skills

  • Previous experience with learning & development in production environment
  • Knowledge or experience with standard training methods for production environments – e.g. TWI or similar.
  • Basic media production skills (primarily video and image editing)
  • Basic marketing skills including effective copywriting and content marketing to drive demand for the local and global learning programs
