RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the Division S&OP: directly work with other head of departments, senior managers in the cross functions (trade sale, marketing, finance…) to drive for demand forecast& ensure sales forecast reflects the market and the company’s reality and business strategy via demand review.
- Develops solutions where gaps are identified. Identify resource requirements, cost and time schedules. Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans to allow for unforeseen events and changes in strategy. Presents elevations as well action plans to Division Leadership Team, and senior staff.
- Align Vietnam demand forecast number with Areas S&OP.
- Accountable for all product demands and liaise with ALOG and NOLA on supply plan.
- Lead, direct, and control all supply policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the organisation’s supply chain’s efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Activities may include supply planning and control, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution.
- Oversee the overall supply and logistics budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and priorities spending.
- Establish targets in transit and delivery times; inventory levels; warehousing and storage costs; and service standards and monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against these goals.
- Research, negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with external suppliers so that the organization has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its quality, timeliness and cost standards.
- Liaise with other senior executives across the organization (particularly in Commercial & Finance) to ensure that demand & supply strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives.
- NPI demand planning: Ensure the demand planning forecast& supply are align with the NPI launch plan.
- Develop Supply Chain best practices and future technologies; standardization and improvement of planning system processes; and supplier management initiatives. Assess the impact of future systems technology solutions in the supply chain and roll-out strategies.
- Assesses and advises on potential risks, ensures compliance as well as gives recommendations, audits and regulatory inspections.
- People Management – Department KPIs: Set annual KPI goals for the Planning team.
- Regularly reviews KPI’s to identify areas of focus and improvement opportunities.
- Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain a succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
- Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals.
- Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.
