Job Description
The DC is located nearby HCMC, receiving the goods from local suppliers and from Warehouse Regional in Malaysia, then distributing to all the stores network across Vietnam.
DC Operations Supervisor guarantee the availability of products by providing distribution solutions at the best ratio of Quality/ Lead time/ Price and Environment.
This role is based out of HCMC and reporting directly to DC Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Solution designer
- Responsible to schedule the plan of arrival shipment from local supplier and WH in Malaysia to DC located in the South of Vietnam
- Design delivery solution from DC and Cross-docking to Stores and Arrange expedition plan according to the need and requirement of Stores network across Vietnam
- Responsible for master data of labeling for all the ranges list and establish the SOP of labeling respected the local regulation and internal standard.
- Set up operations and KPI with the service provider/ 3PL in executing performance properly as well as deploying innovation, initiatives when necessary.
Operations supervision
- Ensure operations running smoothly and safety and security of operations related to.
- Responsible for the communication with internal stakeholder (Transport & Customs team, WH in Malaysia, Stores team, Finance team, etc) to smooth the operations
- Responsible to organize workshop for continuous improvement and implement best practice to enhance and improve work flows/ SOP
Report management
- Provide the visibility of the shipments and accuracy of stock in transit to internal customers
- Manage the Key performance indicators setting up with service provider and with internal stakeholders to achieve the business objectives
- Responsible for cost analysis of related operations, driving cost savings to improve logistics year on year and achieve the competitive level at the market.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Work experience :
- Minimum qualification is a Bachelor Degree in any related discipline
- 3-5 years of working experience in the logistics industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of domestic transport and DC activities
- Previous experience managing 3PL or 4PL services would be an advantage
Professional Skill :
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven record specializing transport and warehouse management
- Leadership skill, ability to monitor, train, measure the performance of service provider
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with business needs analysis, data visualization and stakeholder management
- Having ability to create automation tool (via VBA, SQL, web-based, etc.) is an advance
- Flexible with working hours to meet deadlines for tasks and projects
