Job Description
The System Control Engineer Intern is responsible for the deployment and operation of IoT automation Projects applied to aquaculture.
The incumbent will be required to manage automation systems and solutions:
- Follow-up with local vendor in charge of Process Control System (PCS) manufacturing.
- Perform test and evaluation activities on PCS independently or in conjunction with vendors.
- Support Projects deployments and Operations at the customer sites.
- Participate or lead quality or safety investigations and implement any automation solutions resultant from these investigations.
- Provide training to end users on process control system.
Research and development activities:
- Support the R&D team based in Singapore.
- Provide feedback and discuss product improvement.
- Improve, propose new and support existing and future hardware and automation solutions.
Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th year students who can work full-time for 6 months.
- Working knowledge and experience with micro-controllers (e.g.: PLC, Relay, Edge computing, etc).
- Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, CANBus, EtherNet/IP, or similar.
- Working knowledge of a variety of hardware sensors and micro-electronics hardware.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to engage with users in a professional manner and plainly present technical concepts (Vietnamese and English).
- Hunger to learn new things and ability to scale with new challenges outside of his/her area of work.
- High energy, pro-active, responsible, independent, self-motivated and diligent.
- Caring for team and customers with excellent people skills.
- Frequent travels in Mekong Delta area.
