Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and accomplished VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE ADVISOR (FLEXIBLE WORKING TIME) to provide one-to-one instruction to a senior business executive in Ho Chi Minh City .
This is a unique opportunity to support an experienced business leader (a Vietnamese-American Heritage Learner) in strengthening Vietnamese for business and professional communication . Beyond language instruction, you will act as a Language & Business Philosophy Advisor to help the learner understand Vietnamese business terminology, economic concepts, and cultural contexts .
📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and deliver personalized 1-on-1 Vietnamese lessons tailored to the executive’s professional interests and proficiency level .
- Develop a structured learning plan focusing on practical business Vietnamese, reading-writing systems, and economic concepts .
- Use authentic materials (business articles, presentations, corporate reports) to align with real-world contexts.
- Monitor progress and continuously refine the learning plan based on development and feedback.
🌟 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Native Vietnamese speaker with excellent spoken and written English .
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Vietnamese Language, Linguistics, Education, Business Communication, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).
- Demonstrated experience teaching Vietnamese to adult learners, preferably senior executives or business professionals.
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese business language, economic terminology, and professional communication.
- Professional, discreet, reliable, and comfortable with in-person lessons in HCMC .
💼 WORKING ARRANGEMENT:
- Location: In-person in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Schedule: 3 sessions/week (1 hour/session). Flexible based on mutual availability.
- Compensation: Highly competitive & commensurate with executive-level teaching experience.
