Pricing Trainee

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Follow up on allocated space availability on each vessel, manage space allocation in a timely manner, and coordinate to resolve space-related issues.
  • Provide freight rate and space guidance to sales personnel.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing market freight rate information, update freight rate tables, and provide accurate freight rate support to the sales team.
  • Maintain good communication with sales, customer service and operations teams to ensure utilization of each vessel.
  • Analyze market dynamics, industry changes, and freight rate trends to provide a basis for the company’s freight rate and sales strategy.
  • 2-6 months training period at different departments. Whether to turn to the official pricing representative needs to be valued based on performance.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, with majors in logistics, trade, marketing, etc., preferred.
  • Language: English and Chinese required. (HSK4)
  • 1-2 years of working experience, preferably in sales/shipping lines or customer resources.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to establish good cooperative relationships with local and HQ colleagues.
  • High responsibility, being responsible for your services, performance, and work assigned.
  • High responsiveness, being able to respond quickly to clients, colleagues and management.
  • Good stress tolerance and team spirit, able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in office software, with certain data analysis abilities.

Sales/ Sales Trainee

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client Development & Management
  • Develop new clients (BCO, freight forwarders, trading companies, manufacturers) via cold calls, visits, and online channels, building long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, providing customized logistics solutions (e.g., route optimization, competitive pricing, trucking and other supply chain business).
Sales Target Achievement:
  • Achieve weekly/monthly KPIs including container volume, new client acquisition, revenue targets, etc.
Market Analysis & Support
  • Timely collect and analyze market trends (e.g., freight rates, sailing schedules) to support team strategy.
  • Prepare reports on client feedback and industry insights for management.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Training & Development:
  • 2-6 months training period at different departments. Whether to turn to the official sales representative needs to be valued based on performance.

Digital Supply Chain Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Implement and develop comprehensive logistic solutions to support the company’s growth objectives, including efficient transportation of goods and supply chain optimization.
  • Plan and monitor the transportation routes of goods, handle any issues that arise during the transportation process.
  • Manage and supervise the import and export processes of goods.
  • Manage vendors, negotiate with vendors to build effective price management policies as well as increase Cosco’s competitiveness.
  • Monitor customer transportation contracts, coordinate with relevant departments to complete the contracts.
  • Using supply chain tools for daily work management such as ERP, TMS, WMS…

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Graduated from university with a relevant major.
  • 1-2 years of working experience. Having knowledge in trucking, customs, warehouse operation, import and export logistics operation.
  • Language: Chinese is mandatory. Basic English is acceptable.
  • Familiarity with digital supply chain management systems, including ERP, WMS, TMS, and SCM software.
  • Understanding of Incoterms, trade compliance, and global shipping regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of API integrations and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) for seamless digital communication between supply chain partners.
  • Personality: Hard-working, teamwork, multi-tasking, problem-solving ability.
