Job Description

Sonion is a global leader in designing and manufacturing components and solutions for hearing instruments to improve people’s quality of life. We develop tomorrow’s products for hearing health and professional audio in a global R&D team, including a team of around 50 R&D engineers in Vietnam. Sonion’s main products include balanced armature receivers, miniature microphones, and receivers-in-(ear)canal assemblies.

About the program:

Who are we looking for?
- Fresh graduates – BSc/MSc in electrical /mechanical engineering. Electroacoustics major would be amazing.
- Top students, measured by a combination of academic results, extracurricular efforts, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking with minimum GPA 3.0/4 or 7.5/10
- Overseas returnees are particularly encouraged to apply.

What is the training roadmap?
- Month 1: Work on our production line to get a deep understanding of products.
- Month 2 – 4: Rotation in R&D in a hands-on function (e.g. prototyping).
- Month 5 – 7: Rotation in an R&D engineering function (e.g. product development).
- Month 8: Rotation in surrounding functions (e.g. quality).
- Month 9 – 11: Rotation 2 in R&D function.
- Month 12: Transition to a regular R&D job.
