Job Description

Purpose of position:

Main duties:

  • Establishing and keeping good relations with airport authorities, catering and other service companies
  • Supervising and co-operating with the handling agent
  • Checking the availability and readiness of staff, equipment, supplies and services of the handling agent to perform ground handling services
  • Carefully managing service during operational disruptions with the goal of maintaining a high level of customer service
  • In case of major delays or cancellations, arranging required welfare, necessary surface transport, accommodation of passengers and crew and possible re-routing/re-booking of passengers
  • Investigating and reporting any irregularity in handling of aircraft, passengers or baggage
  • Assisting in tracking baggage and other lost and found articles. Following up with relevant departments of the handling agent and the Carrier
    Promoting ancillary services and products to passengers.

Required qualifications for the position:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration;
  • Have exceptional problem solving, organizational and communication skills;
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and handle stressful situations;
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions;
  • Have 10 years’ experiences in working in aviation;
  • Speak fluently English; Be able to work in shifts if required.
