Logistics Operations Specialist
Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

2. Logistics Coordination:
- Oversee the movement of products from suppliers to distribution centers and from distribution centers to retail stores.
- Optimize transportation routes and schedules to minimize costs and delivery times.
3. Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels at distribution centers (DCs) to ensure matching between systems and physical products
- Liaise with DCs and join regular stock take activities.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with Distribution Center 3PL and Transportation 3PL partners on operation arrangements
- Ensure timely communication to Stores regarding shipment status, delays, and delivery issues (if any)
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics processes.
- Generate reports for management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collarorate with 3PLs to ensure billing documents are submitted on time for timely payments to Suppliers.
6. Problem-Solving:
- Address any logistics-related challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
7. Performance Metrics and Compliance:
- KPI Tracking: Maintain relevant metrics to assess performance of Distribution Center and Transport.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze data to identify areas for enhancement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ISO requirements (when needed)
8. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

2. Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in logistics and supply chain operations, with industry experience in transportation and warehousing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Finance..) and external stakeholders (3PLs..) effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
3. Skills and Knowledge:
- Understand and can apply the principle of “Flow”
- Good at critical thinking skill, problem solving skill
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of specific logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong mathematical and engineering background to quickly grasp complex concepts is a plus
- Knowledge of using Performance tools (PowerBI..), WMS/TMS is a plus
- Knowledge of statistical methods is a plus
