Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Proactively monitor all aspects of AVTech client’s network devices, servers, and networks performance and availability;
- Identifying the nature of NOC alerts through AVTech best practices, incident management procedures, and escalations processes;
- Maintaining and monitoring Anti-Virus (AV) and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) software;
- Maintaining system back-ups and supporting disaster recovery;
- Deploying and maintaining software on customer devices;
- Manage Microsoft Windows workstation and server Operating System (OS) patches;
- Manage service request tickets throughout its lifecycle;
- Diagnose and remediate network device, server and network performance monitoring alerts;
- Support technical teams on escalated issues such as hardware faults;
- Providing support of the latest IT technologies from Microsoft, N-able, Datto, Acronis and Fortinet;
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships;
- Responding to all NOC alerts promptly, courteously, and efficiently, actively keeping customers informed of the progress of incidents;
- Communicating effectively between internal departments, clients, and partners.
- Working as a member of a team that provides high-quality service, is self-motivated, cooperative, effective and maintains interpersonal relationships.
- Working with Managed Services and Service Delivery Team Leaders and Technical Consultants, to be responsible for the day-to-day support of customer’s IT infrastructure;
- Preparing and maintaining documentation standards when required;
- Learning, understanding, and embracing AVTech’s core solution portfolio and technology;
- Appropriate handling of internal NOC systems, policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure continuous improvement of services;
- Remaining accountable for reducing business risk from day-to-day activities;
- Understanding and adhering to Service Level Agreements;
- Maintaining current applicable knowledge and skill in a continuously changing ICT communications environment.
Education:
- Bachelor in a related discipline would be highly regarded;
- ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred;
- Other known IT industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent English skill (should be in or above level 7.0 IELTS)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills;
- Excellent time management and service resource coordination skills;
- Ability to work independently, while also fostering and promoting a team environment.
