Job Purpose:

Support to develop and maintain MS SQL Databases and Data Warehouse within De Heus applications and Data Lake; as well as Support to manage and ensure that all databases are highly available, with proper backup & recovery strategy
Support to ensure all database back-end activities of Developer team (internal Dev team and out-source Dev team) work properly
Support Data Analitics team to build 1 back-end data lake for De Heus Asia, which can serve Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia and can be extended further per requirement

Key activities:

Develop, maintain, monitor and improve system:

· Support to administering MS SQL Server 2014 and higher version

· Support to instalL, maintain & monitor MS SQL Server instances

· Support to managing system/database security

· Support to configure and maintain database backups strategy & disaster recovery

· Implement and manage high availability solutions (database replication, database mirroring, log shipping)

· Optimizing database performance (optimizing queries, database tuning)

· Provide troubleshooting & technical service desk requirements

· Support to ensure effective support is in place for all aspects of the database management

· Support to ensure incident management protocols and process are effectively and consistently followed

· Support to ensure required high availability of MS Database

· Support to ensure existing database supports for business requirements

· Support to ensure high quality on time completion of all database projects

· Support to ensure proactive planning to ensure database effectively supports De Heus growth and business goals and objectives

· Automating administrative tasks (Integration Services)

· Database programming (triggers, procedures, functions)

· Creating reports with Crystal Reports and Reporting Services,

· Good knowledge about ERP, DW & LAA

· Managing access and security

· Implementing required reports

Develop, Maintain, backup and restore database of local applications:

· Implement and manage high availability solutions (database replication, database mirroring, log shipping)

· Support to ensure required high availability of MS Database

· Automating administrative tasks (Integration Services)

· Database programming (triggers, procedures, functions)

· Managing access and security

· Support developer team for database review, build and optimize from design phase to operational phase

Create, maintain, optimize database script and database for datalake and data warehouse:

Implement and manage high availability solutions (database replication, database mirroring, log shipping)
Support to ensure required high availability of MS Database
Automating administrative tasks (Integration Services)
Database programming (triggers, procedures, functions)
Using SQL server technologies, service and databases for creating data lake, data warehouse together with Data Engineer team
Optimize query script to improve performance of server, ensure data quality and data accuracy
Manage access of users (both application users and technical users) to any data table, data cube, database and and data warehouse both for on-premise and cloud
Regularly check database performance, optimize data usage and data processing to have better cost of ms. Azure.
Maintain the right balance of data storage and data processing in between on-premise and cloud
