JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support teachers in class/during the course (when assigned);
• Have class substitutions as requested;
• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to help them master assignments or reinforce learning concepts;
• Control and take care of students in assigned classes;
• Assign and mark homework for assigned classes;
• Observe students’ performance and record relevant data to assess student’s progress;
• Take class attendance and maintain attendance records;
• Plan, prepare, and develop various teaching aids;
• Conduct demonstrations to teach skills, such as sports, dancing, and handicrafts;
• Do other tasks assigned by CM and ACs.

REQUIREMENT

1. Knowledge:

• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar;
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

2. Skill:

• Communication and presentation skills;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving;
• Team working and decision making;
• Multi-tasking, working under high pressure, organization.

3. Degree:

• University students. For those who major in English is an advantage;
• An English certificate (IELTS/ TOEFL from B2 level) is a plus;
• Can arrange a time to work on weekday evenings (6p.m – 9p.m) and weekends.

4. Personal quality:

• Honest, enthusiastic, dynamic, innovative, and confident;
• Willing in professional development;
• High commitment to the center.

5. Experience: Experiences in tutoring/ teaching English for children aged from 6 to 13.
